Regarding these two new models from Apple, some users suggest that iPhone customers who are on a budget but eager to experience more AI features might want to wait for next year’s iPhone 17 series.
They argue that while the iPhone 16 series comes with only 8GB of RAM, primarily aimed at cloud-based AI applications, next year’s iPhone 17 series is expected to upgrade to 12GB of RAM, allowing for more on-device AI support.
Yesterday, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo provided further details on this topic. He noted that in the 2025 lineup, only the iPhone 17 Pro Max will feature 12GB of RAM and similar high-end specifications.
